Absolutely! it would also count as a TD pass if the TE breaks it Nice way to get him some passing stats.

I thought so... we will begin install on this tomorrow. My assistants are excited about it and we run the waggle pretty good and one of my assistants said we should install option. I thought it too labor intensive at this time so this might be the trick. Thanks coach for sharing

Ok coach we have begun installing the waggle option play...
We have a few questions, what drills did you use to help the QB with the reads?
Also our TE is getting caught in the wash of Pulling Guards how can I help him with this?

Hey Coach, As far as drill work, we used a DE whenever we repped this play in offensive groups. We did it several ways, he could be aggressive to the QB (like what we see most of the time) and get him used to shoveling. Or we could mix the DE between sitting and attacking the QB. As far as the TE getting caught in the wash ... you could probably get it to time a little better if you have the guards pull flatter and have the TE pull a deeper, between the two, it should time up a little better. Let me know how it does.

Hey Coach, It's a play that does require some work, we repped it all spring, all summer and didn't pull it out until after the pre-season classic.
