Coaches, do any of you use no huddle with the wing? If so, i would love some imput on this. We are looking to go to this.
Background-Our HC and I have been running the wing t for 10yrs. We went to some Shot Wing this past year. We are a traditional buck, trap, waggle team.
Thanks, Travis

Coach, We went no huddle whenever we needed to go in hurry up mode. Basically, I called the pass plays from the sideline, if there was a 1st down, we'd get a quick huddle if we could but not necessarily ... on out of bounds plays, we'd have a 2 play huddle. This allowed us to run the ball on occasion and catch them by surprise. All plays were on set.

Coach, do you use numbers or signals? Do you have your kids wear wristbands? Thanks, Travis

We are going with armbands. the no huddle presents lots of challenges but the most important is the snap count. we color code our bands. We have learned to be pretty creative with our bands. We actually break our bands down from Skill players and individual lineman position bands. Its always an on going experiment.
