coaches when blocking down,, does the wing back thats blocking rules change depending on the defense? does he always block the first inside lb to his side?

Coach, I always have the WB block 1st backer inside. When blocking most wing-t plays, you want a block IN at the POA, OUT at the POA and THROUGH the POA. The wing back's block is the through block, and the through block is the block on the 2nd level. Good luck, Metz

Since we setup the Down with the Buck Sweep, we have the Wing influence the DE. Two hard steps toward the DE then seal outside on #1. Doing it this way also sets up the Keep Pass. If #1 is flying off-tackle to play the Down, we have a wide open Wing in the flat.

Coachesturf, how do you block the down then, who picks up the play side LB vs a 3-4. we kick out the outside backer plus we have the option fake to also take care of. Mistark
