Coach I am so sorry I didn't post sooner sir! We finished our season at at 7-2-1 (8-10 y/o's) and lost in first round of playoffs.
Some of the things you helped with worked well during the season when we played an opponent who ran a 44 defense. The rocket sweep, jet, down and trap worked well for us and the "follow" by Qb in respect to the belly series.
One thing I like for our kids to learn is more "blocking drills" in respect to using our chutes, 2,3, and 5 man sleds. I am a firm believer of practicing "game situation" drills during the season. Thats what we'll see vs. a certain opponent(s)...
Any drills or video in respect to blocking drills... I open to what would be good to use for that age group (8-10 y/0's).
Thanks again for a great site and all you do to help other coaches on here. You have a basic enough playbook for youth teams to start with in running Wing T.

Coach, Thank you very much! I'm glad to be of service. As far a drills ... I have very little practice video. Much of it is not very good. And coaches like Gerry Gallagher and Paul Connor has excellent videos on blocking in the wing-t that one can use with any age group. I would recommend those. If you have an opportunity to go to the National Wing-t Clinic next year, I highly recommend it. Thanks again, Metz
